Sectors & Clients We Support

NetworkUp is proud to work with a wide range of clients across many industries.

Based in Sydney with projects across New South Wales, we have the experience to secure everything from local schools to large industrial estates. Here are some of the key sectors we serve and examples of what we deliver:

Government

We support local and state government facilities with robust, compliant security systems. For example, we’ve secured council offices and public infrastructure with CCTV surveillance, controlled access for staff, and intercom entry systems. Government clients often require strict adherence to security standards and reliable systems to protect public assets – we deliver with proven technology and thorough documentation. We understand the need for confidentiality and continuity in government operations, and we design systems that meet these needs seamlessly.

Education

From K-12 schools to universities, we help educational institutions create safer learning environments. This can include campus-wide video monitoring, electronic access control for buildings and classrooms, and emergency intercom systems. In one recent project, we upgraded two large public schools with a network of IP cameras and secure door entry systems to keep students and staff safe. We work around academic schedules to minimize disruption and ensure that the solution is easy for school administrators to use. The result is peace of mind for parents and faculty, knowing there’s an extra layer of protection on campus.

Commercial

Office buildings, corporate campuses, and commercial complexes rely on NetworkUp for integrated security and data networks. We have delivered solutions like badge-entry systems and surveillance for multi-story office towers, as well as fiber-optic networks linking business parks and data centers. For example, at a sprawling industrial estate, we installed a fibre backbone connecting multiple warehouse buildings to a central security control room – enabling high-speed data and video feeds across 12+ kilometers of fibre. Commercial clients benefit from our ability to integrate security with IT: we can tie CCTV into your IT network, set up secure remote access to camera feeds, and ensure your systems scale as your business grows.

Retail

Stores and shopping centers face unique security challenges, from theft prevention to after-hours monitoring. NetworkUp has helped national retail chains and local shops deploy camera systems that deter shoplifting and record incidents in crystal-clear HD. We also implement alarm systems and sensors that protect inventory and automatically alert our monitoring team or the police when needed. For malls and large retail complexes, we provide integrated solutions including parking lot surveillance, public announcement systems tied to emergency triggers, and people-counting analytics to help with store operations. All of these solutions aim to create a safer, more secure shopping experience for both retailers and customers.

Strata & Residential Complexes

Strata properties (apartment buildings, gated communities, residential complexes) trust us for reliable security infrastructure that residents can depend on. We install intercom and entry phone systems (like Aiphone) for secure visitor access, CCTV cameras in lobbies, elevators and garages for deterrence and incident recording, and electronic access controls for communal facilities (gyms, pools, parking). For instance, we worked with a multi-building apartment complex to revamp their outdated intercom with a modern IP video intercom system – now residents can see who’s at the door via their smartphone and grant access remotely. We understand the importance of aesthetics and convenience in residential settings, so our solutions are high-tech yet user-friendly, keeping communities safe without intruding on comfort.

Wholesale & Distribution Warehouses

Fast-moving inventory, round-the-clock dock traffic and tight pick-pack schedules leave no margin for downtime—or shrinkage. NetworkUp keeps goods flowing and losses low by wrapping your operation in full-coverage CCTV that shadows pallets from receiving to dispatch, complete with camera overlays on your WMS so supervisors can verify every scan on the spot. Zone-based access control secures loading bays, high-value cages and bonded storage, while temporary PINs and mobile credentials let third-party drivers move in and out without keys. Forklift-friendly intercoms, licence-plate recognition at boom gates and a rugged fibre-plus-Wi-Fi backbone streamline truck entry, power RF scanners and pave the way for future automation. Real-time analytics—heat maps that expose bottlenecks, people-counting for safe egress and AI alerts for loitering or unsafe behaviour—deliver safer staff, tighter stock control and rock-solid evidence when something goes missing, all without slowing your throughput.

Projects

Switchyard by Mirvac – Auburn NSW

Scope: Security and backbone fibre network across a 14-hectare multi-warehouse industrial estate
Project Timeline: 12 months
Delivery: On time

Located in Sydney’s west, Switchyard is a landmark industrial precinct comprising six modern warehouse buildings and 27 tenancies, each with integrated multi-storey office space. To support the estate’s high-tech operations and long-term security needs, NetworkUp was engaged to design and deploy a comprehensive backbone infrastructure and surveillance solution.

Working alongside the head contractor, we installed over 12 kilometres of OM3 multimode fibre to interconnect all buildings via five strategically placed communication hubs. This fibre backbone supports a fully integrated estate-wide video surveillance and access control system. Over 40 security cameras were installed using a mix of Cat6A indoor and underground cabling, providing comprehensive coverage across warehouse exteriors, entries, and common areas. Two Dell PowerEdge servers were configured to run the site’s video management and access control platforms, giving facility managers centralised oversight from a dedicated control office onsite.

The result is a future-ready estate where robust security, high-speed connectivity, and centralised control work seamlessly together to support the daily operations of tenants and management.

NSW Department of Education – Epping West & Ngarala Public Schools

Scope: Full security system upgrade and integration across two major school campuses
Project Timeline: 12 months
Delivery: On time

NetworkUp delivered comprehensive security infrastructure across two significant school developments under the NSW Department of Education, ensuring each campus met modern safety and access standards while integrating seamlessly with the Department’s Security Unit in Blacktown.

At Epping West Public School, the project involved retrofitting 15 existing buildings and fitting out two new three-storey blocks. We installed 126 new security field devices, including 15 access-controlled doors, 22 CCTV cameras, and 6 accessible toilet alert systems—all unified under a new-generation access control and intercom network.

At Ngarala Public School, a brand-new school site was outfitted with over 170 integrated devices across several large multi-storey buildings and a central hall. The deployment included 44 CCTV cameras, 20 access-controlled doors, and 10 accessible toilet warning systems.

Both schools were delivered with a fully networked security system that feeds live data to the centralised Schools Security Unit, enabling real-time incident response and campus-wide monitoring. The result is two future-ready education environments where staff, students and visitors are protected by smart, responsive infrastructure tailored for high-traffic educational settings.

Castle Hill Public Primary School

Scope: Upgrade to existing ICT infrastructure with a new 3 storey building along with Dry fire upgrades.
Project Timeline: 12 months
Delivery: On time

The upgrade at Castle Hill included the addition of a new three-story building with 36 modern classrooms, as well as a new hall, canteen, covered outdoor learning area (COLA) and student amenities. It will also provide facilities for specialist support classes, and refurbished administration and staff areas.

Networkup Pty Ltd was engaged to design, supply and install new communication networks and upgrades of existing communications throughout the school following the Department of education’s EFSG guidelines. Network was also engaged for the Dry Fire upgrades and new design for the new buildings.
